NOTICE TO: ALL WWHS GRADUATES
With special requests from the Class of '52
Hello, Bobby Walker here, with request for information and help from WWHS Graduates, any year.
Here's the situation: In 2012 the class of '52 celebrated our 60th anniversary with a grand celebration in Beckley. The Party planners did an outstanding job. In fact, we had so much fun we are going to do it again September, 2014 with a celebration of our 62nd anniversary.
How can you help? So we do not make any false claims I need the following information:
1] Has any other class had a reunion beyond the 60th. If so, which anniversary and what was the year.
2] In 1952 our class captured 3 state championships in sports. Has any class won 3 or more, if so, which sports and what year.
I also need your help in locating some of our classmates. With 325 graduates in 1952 we have located all but 23. I am listing the names here, hoping someone will remember something about them that will assist me in our search(where they lived, who they paled with, where they worked/went to college, etc.). I have it on good authority that at least one of our classmates will donate $10.00 to our treasury for every one located (living or deceased) through your efforts.
WHERE ARE THEY NOW?: James D Bach; Nancy Bousheley Payne; Eddie Cook; Evelyn Delp; Betty Gaye Godbey; Barbara Henson Watts; Phyllis Logan Hutchens; Jimmie McCormick;Prydella McKinney Plyers ;Charles Miller; Patricia Ann Morrison Olsen (last known in Texas); Doris O’Brien Sharman; Lois Peters Bailey; Billie Ann Pittman; Eleanor Radford Thompson; Elizabeth Saunders; Peggy V Seigo; Charles Stover; Kenneth Stump; Gary W. Sweeney; Donna Jean Webb; Roma Mae West; and Edna Wiseman Jones
My goal is to find every one of my classmates before our 2014 gathering. With your help I think I can reach that goal. I appreciate all your help. You can e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 434-384-5993
You can't beat the Flying Eagles!
