gathering...just too many things going on.
My wife Joy and I are going to celibrate our 10th wedding anniv. on 9/11 this
year...and it's been a great ride so far.
My step son graduated from Georgia Tech in 2007 and employed..which is always a
good thing....So it's just Joy and I and our 2 cats and my ever growing CD and
DVD collection under the roof now...Even though I walked away from radio in 2002
I will always be an old rocker.

live outside Parkersburg. Doug (class of 1977) and I celebrated our 32nd wedding
anniversary this year. Doug still works for UPS. I work for an industrial sales
company. We have two daughters, Gina and Arielle, are both married. One

Comments: After leaving Beckster in 1982, I moved several times to train (run)- Melbourne Beach FL, Pittsburgh, Eugene OR, San Francisco, Boulder CO, and finally landed in San Diego in 1985. Along the way, I met my wife on the run (no lie) at a 1/2 marathon in Northern California. Kind of funny that a valley girl from Los Angeles would like hanging out for keeps with a country boy from WV. Anyway, we have a 15 year old daughter Claire who had no choice but to be a jockette (volleyball, soccer, & lacrosse). Have been a banker for over 25 years but on many days would rather be working at the YMCA on Main Street back home. Cheers!

Comments: Hello everyone, I never see anyone I graduated with and always wondered where everyone was at. I have heard from friends I run into every now and then. Well I live at Shady and have 3 children. Valerie 30 years old and worked for the Sheriff Dept. Keith 28 years old with 3 wonderful children a girl and 2 boys. Owns his own Reclamation Business and is a Youth Leader in his church. The youngest, Casey who is in the 11th grade at Shady Spring High School. He plays tackle on the Football Team and plans to go into Sport Medicine. I went to college at MSU and studied Criminal Justice. Worked at the Southern Regional Jail for a while until I married my husband Steve, which is a cpl. at the Southern Regional Jail. Divorced my first husband in 1986 and remarried. Managed Softball at Shady Spring for 3 years and sat on the Board of Directors. Played Volleyball up until I was 38 years old and now retired. I feel blessed and it's been a great ride.

Comments: I thought I had updated this since the reunion, but guess I didn't. Was a tad busy! The renioun was great, even greater to get back in touch with Jim Salango, (even tho he wasnt' at the reunion)... We had our own reunion and were finally married May 1, 2006! Hooty Hoo!
He is still golfing and loving it here (gets to play all year long). I switched jobs, am now working for a travel magazine. All our kids are all grown up, other then Mike (15) but he is more adult then he should be! Way into Music, recording, producing and writing. He is the one who told me I hadn't updated this. He likes to google alot! Does alot of myspace sites for singers, bands, etc.

of great memories. I was part of the South Kanawha St. crew. I got hitched right out of school. I have two sons,
Michael Paul (29) and David Lee (27). Got un-hitched and have since married a wonderful woman named Suzanne. I have been a
heavy equipment operator and a truck driver my whole life. The last seven years I worked, I drove a semi coast-to-coast. Have
been disabled with a back injury for about 3 years now. My wife has breast cancer that has spread to her pelvis and her

licensed physical therapist and personal trainer. And while doing both of these jobs periodically, at his time I am also a
substitute teacher in Greenbrier Co. (my MA's in Ed). I really enjoyed the last reunion. Sadly, I won't be able to attend
this one. My oldest has his college orientation this weekend at the University of Mary Washington, in Fredricksburg VA. I have
enjoyed running in to old classmates here and there-Debbie Worley Boso, Roger Reed and Karen, Tom Coker and Anne Shoemaker
on the soccer field; Jeff Hogg in Morgantown...Beverly George- streets of Lewisburg.

I am in my tenth year as Executive Director of The Gallatin Chamber of Commerce. It is a town quite
like Beckley right out of Nashville. The job allows me to be creative and bossy, just the way I like it!
My daughter Amanda (24) is married and has given me a new heartthrob in my grandson "Gabe". My son
Robert is giving me heart attacks as he has turned 16, is 6'3" and definitely a flirt! Michael
my 10 year old is keeping the title as my baby, but is more into baseball and keeping my few hours
away from work busy. He also has inherited the flirting traits.

Comments: I have spent a good deal of time wondering about my friends and wishing
that ther was someway for me to find them. I would like to talk over some old times as

Comments: Graduated from Concord College in 1978 taught elementary
school music for 17 years currently in training for a career change--studying
computer programming. I have 2 sons, ages 20 and 18.

Comments: I came to Beckley during my junior year and left
shortly after graduation. My circle of friends was not very large,
but I have already heard from a few, courtesy of this website (Thank
you, Jeff). I attended WV State for one semester, then transferred
to East Tennessee State Univ where I graduated in 1979. I got
married and entered the Marine Corps immediately thereafter, and
remain on active duty to this day. We have a daughter entering her
freshman year at UNC Chapel Hill this fall. She was salutatorian of
her H.S. class (A position I was never familiar with...maybe if they
hadn't invented Stroh's...). I suppose I should repeat all the
obligatory phrases about how great life has been in the intervening
years and how I wouldn't do anything differently, but that would be
BS now, wouldn't it? I haven't made my millions yet, but on the
whole, life has been good. I have lived in places I used to dream
about (Jacksonville, NC isn't one of them) and have been able to
positively influence people's lives. It doesn't put Ferrari's in the
garage, but that's worth something to some people.
