Comments: Just found the site. Ive been married 22 years to Julia (Dixon) Pack we have two boys Eric 21 and Ryan 14. We moved away right after we were married only to return 3 months later. Comments: I retired from the U.S. Coast Guard after 20+ years and spent my last
tour of duty as a recruiter in Knoxvile and decided to stay. I have been
married to Leigh (Harvey, class of 1980) Brammer for 27 years. Our son
Christopher is 25 and married living in Johnson City, TN. After retiring I went
into law enforcement with the Oak Ridge Police Departmnet but didn't care for

Let's see. I joined the Air Force after I graduated, got out after four years
and went back to Beckley for a little while. I married Lila Bassett (class of
1976) and we have 2 girls (18 and 14). I eventually ended up working for General
Electric Aircraft Engines as a technician. I have been there for 15 years now.

Comments: I have not seen a post from anyone in a while, and to follow Joey Childress example, I will post.
Still living in Florida. I have semi retired and now help run a little pack and ship store. The rat race of Retail Pharmacy, store development, merchandising and consulting took its toll on the body, mind, and spirit.
I vanished from the face of the earth and missed all major opportunities for family development. Therefore, I am single with no known children and a little cat that refuses to leave. Bought a dog but it blew out both knees chasing a squirrel in the back yard, and had to put her down.
I have lost touch with virtually everone from beckley. Every now and then I get an e-mail from someone that cheers me up.
I have been pondering returning to West Virginia to try my luck with my own business, but never seems the right time. City of Beckley not too encouraging. Now that the Governor wants us to "Come Home to West Virginia" I may think about it again. But then again, it was 80 degrees today.
Moved to florida to get my golf game going, but that has not worked. Got into real Estate, but then the market crashed.
I have been looking at getting a drum set and getting back into that.(For those of you who remember that side of me..) Should do wonders on the Beer Belly.
Any way... Just want to give a shout out to all those out there. Wish everyone a great 2008 and remember to Vote.

This past fall, after 20+ years of active service in the U.S. Army, I
finally retired. I never imagined that I would make a career of it but it was
something that I really loved, and I always felt that I made a positive
contribution. I have now started a second career. I am currently working for
AT&T Government Solutions as a Program Manager and Senior Military Analyst in
the area of Space Operations. So far I am really enjoying this new career path.

New E-Mail Address. Too busy to attend reunion piknik. Running a small business is very tough. We had to downsize a little this year and concentrate on most cost effective location. I even looked at moving back to Beckley, but had some resistance to my business ideas from Uptown Business development and Chamber of Commerce. So I will stay in Florida another year or two until my home value has quadripled and I can retire to Flat Top Lake. Still looking for Mrs. Right. Have to settle for miss now and then.
May your Frosted Mugs be full and your minivan get good gas mileage.
