About the WWHS Alumni Website This
website was created in November 1999 by Jeff Miller (Class of
1968) to help alumni of Woodrow Wilson High School in Beckley, West
Virginia, to
reestablish contact. Since the site was established, social networking
sites such as Facebook and MySpace have come about, making
this web site perhaps less needed, but I plan to continue it
nevertheless.
I am a school teacher living in Florida, having
moved from Beckley in 1980. That photo at left shows me
in my classroom.

Hosting for the web site previously cost $275 per year. In Feb. 2011 I found a much cheaper way to host the site, costing only about $85 per year. Mitchell Wauhop ’63, Mitch Childers ’68, Judith Scites ’60, Jeanette Haynes Gallimore ’53, and the WWHS Class of 1964 sent in contributions which will pay for the site for the next four years. So I am no longer requesting contributions. |
