I graduated from WWHS in 1987... Got married in 1990 to a southern belle (Cherie), graduated from Univ. of Tenn. w/ a Bachelor of Architecture degree in 1993. Son (Adam) came along in August 1994, and daughter (Katherine aka Katie) was born in April 1999. I work as a project architect for a medium-sized firm (Cope Associates, Inc.) in Knoxville, TN. My parents have since moved from Beckley to Chicago, IL so I don't get there much anymore. Any news on reunions, etc. is appreciated. a daughter 6 and a son 3. I went to Beckley College for a year then transferred to WVU and received
a BSN in 1989. I currently work part-time as an RN for a physician doing OB/GYN and ultrasounds.
Moved to Wardensville a few weeks after high school graduation. Meet my husband here
in Wardensville. He's a 1988 graduate of Marshall University BBA . He is an account manager for
a printing firm in VA - Perry-Judd's. I have a twin sister Donna Hornbeck Sears who lives here in

Since signing this guestbook, I've received a lot of questions regarding the past 15 years, so here's some additional info for those who are interested: A year after graduating WWHS, I attended WVU and graduated in 1990 with a BA in English Literature. I then did a stint at the University of Valladolid in Spain and then onto a bit of film school in Pittsburgh. After this, I went to grad school in Film Production at Ohio University and graduated with an MFA in 1994. Since this time, I've lived in LA and have primarily been directing music videos and commercials. See, Mrs. Will's drama class was a big help! Whatever happened to all those people, anyway? I'd love to know.

Still have all the hair, but with a little more grey. Have not found the right lady yet. Been broken hearted by 81, 83 graduates...you know who you are. Been around the world a bit even went to WVU. I STILL LOVE TO PARTY!!! Working for my 3rd Drug Store Chain (who woulda thought?) Originally from Beckley. Left immediately after graduation.
I got lost on my last visit. Went to Billy Joes once and sat right next to early childhood friends. I was bigger than both of them and they played football; I played the drums. They didn't recognize me at all.

Graduated in '82 and after several years, married my high-school sweetheart, Tammy Linsky, in 1990 after graduating from Emory University Law School in Atlanta in 1989. Worked in a law firm in Atlanta for a few years where I learned that slavery still exists, and then moved back to Beckley where I have my own firm (actually a partnership with my cousin, Billy Roop '78 WWHS.) Life is great with a new baby born 6-1-00 (Abigail Elizabeth Roop). Tammy is a newly-retired registered nurse, having decided to stay home and be a full-time mom.

I graduated in 1986. I graduated from Marshall University in 1991 with a BA in Elementary Education and in 1993 with a MA in Learning Disabilities. I taught special education in Atlanta, GA for 5 years. After my first daughter was born, Ashleigh (26 months old), I decided to stay at home and become a domestic engineer. This is fabulous. I am so excited that I could potentially connect with some long lost friends. Even though I did not graduate from WWHS in 1983, I should have. My parents moved the family to San Antonio, Texas 2 weeks before our senior year started. I was DEVASTATED. Anyway...I lived through it. I reside in Tyler Texas with my husband Gary

Class of "81. Moved to Beckley in 1979 from Texas as a sophmore. Met (and subsequently married) Kevin Ball (class of '80). We have been married for almost 18 years (wow...and still crazy in love), own a contracting company, and are very active with children (we have a 9 yr. old daughter, Chelsea). I spent some time in Russia last year with the Minister of Eductation (Siberia) concerning humanitariun relief for orphanages. We are in the process of developing relationships with other countries for the same humanitariun purpose. Life is busy, beautiful and exciting here in Colorado. By the way...I remember HUTCH too.... And for the "VEGGIE TALE" junkies out there....Big Idea Productions premiered their latest video "King George and the Duckie" here and guess WHO WAS BOB THE TOMATOE????? I was born to be BOB!!!!!!

Hoping to catch up with 85'ers and others....15 years passes quickly. Here is the short story:
I graduated from Annapolis(US Naval Academy)in 1990 and spent 9 years flying for the Navy, based predominantly out of Florida. Somehow during this period, I found the time (still not quite sure how) to get married, have two great kids, and knock out a MBA.
I traded in my flight suit for working casual last Summer and I'm now doing business development for a small, hi-tech communications company in the DC area. I live in Germantown, MD with my wife (Kris), son (Cole-5) and daughter (Alexandra-2). If you find yourself in the greater DC area, give us a shout. Depending on my mood, I'm usually good for a drink.

I graduated from WVU back in 85 and moved to Maryland - have been here since. My parents still live near Beckley, so I get home a lot!
I married a MD guy back in 1993; we have two beautiful children - a boy (4) and a girl (2). I am currently the middle/secondary reading specialist for Washington County Public Schools.
